For most here at Eastwood The fall AACA Hershey swap meet has become a tradition to visit each year. The reality with Hershey is that if you can’t take off of work and come mid-week, you’re going to miss the REAL good deals. Heck, some of the best deals are scored by fellow vendors on setup day it seems! I decided to swing by on the first official day of the swap meet and see what this year had in store.

The 2014 The Race of Gentlemen Report
The Race of Gentlemen or “TROG” has by far become my favorite automotive event of the year and this year was no exception. TROG is a perfect example of a small low-key event that’s kept true to their roots. Even with all of the exposure and hype surrounding this […]
2014 Lonestar Roundup Coverage
What was once described to me as the “Best Little Show in Texas” has grown into one of the largest traditional hot rod and kustom car shows in the country. 2014 makes the 13th Annual Lonestar Roundup in Austin, TX. For the 4th time I made the 1300 mile round trip from my home in central Kansas straight down I-35 to the Roundup, for the 2nd time I took my own ride. The show has grown considerably since my first trip, it’s quickly finding the limits of the Travis County Expo Grounds.

Cincinnati Cavalcade of Customs- Live Winfield Chop Shop on a 1949 Ford Shoebox
This time the traveling Winfield Chop Shop stopped in Cincinnati for the 2013 Cavalcade of Customs. This time around the car under the knife was a stock 1949 Shoebox Ford with the original flathead V8 owned by Tim Jones. Tim has owned the car for 3 years and he’s been into cars since he was a kid.
SEMA 2012- Eastwood Company Part 2 Coverage
Every year I’m still amazed at how many hidden “gems” there are in the show. You could walk rows and rows of products, models and through thousands of people, and suddenly you turn a corner and there is a beautiful car tucked in a booth. It’s almost like a treasure […]
2012 Macungie Das Awkscht Fescht Highlights
As mentioned in our last post about Crosleys Being Featured at Das Awkscht Fescht 2012, we stopped by the show to get some footage of what the event is all about. Das Awkscht Fescht has a great laid-back vibe and Macungie, PA has the small-town-USA atmosphere that we love, so […]
Northeast Rod and Custom Show 2012
This year was the second annual Northeast Rod and Custom Show and after last years great turnout; we decided to stop by again and see what rides were on display this year. We were happy to see some of the familiar faces of local shop owners and car builders, but […]
