We believe the only way to truly understand your machine (car, boat, motorcycle, go-kart) is to work on it yourself. The bond between man and machine can only be built through emotion. The pain, the joy, and the craftsmanship that goes into it are what define that bond that we […]

Tank Latch and Brake/Clutch Reservoir Caps I was finally able to get my hands on my first powder coating gun which was the Eastwood Dual Voltage gun and had absolutely amazing results from it. In this article I am going to be going over the whole process I went through […]
How To Start TIG Welding and Building Chopper Motorcycles
I talked to the good folks over at Eastwood and placed my order for the Eastwood TIG200 AC/DC welder, the Eastwood Tungsten Grinder because I knew that if fouling the tungsten is a problem for beginners I would be needing either this or a grinding wheel, but with it’s rod mitering slots and double sided diamond grinding wheel, the grinder would take having pointy tungsten out of the learning process. I also ordered the Eastwood Panoramic Welding Helmet. Probably too much helmet for what I need but not very expensive, so I went for it.
Decorate your lid! Custom Painted Motorcycle Helmet
Recently the trend for fully customized motorcycle helmets has picked up again and we’ve even begun to see custom helmet “shows” where artists, owners, and painters can show off their helmet. We decided to brew up our own custom helmet using a vintage helmet and show the process along the way. Mike L. is our resident paint tech guy and he did the work to transform this helmet.

Hobby Month Customer Spotlight- Marc M. Bike Klub After-School Instructor
This entire month we’ve been talking about customers that are crazy for their hobby and some of their beautiful creations. For our final feature we’re going to spotlight a guy that took his hobby even further than most and married it with his profession. Marc has been building Motorcycles and Hot Rods since he was a kid alongside his father. During that time he’s learned the ins and outs of building his own projects from scratch. Not everyone can fall into doing their hobby as a profession and Marc was no different. He’s spent the past 17 years in the education industry and specifically the past 10 teaching Canadian youth in public schools. During his time as a school teacher he’s taught everything from Math to Metallurgy. You can see where were going with this right?!
How to Build Custom Cafe Racer Motorcycle Handlebars
I’ve had my hands full with my four wheeled projects lately and I haven’t been giving my little “cafe” motorcycle; a DKW RT125 much attention. I recently decided to build a set of clubman style drop bars for it. My problem with off the shelf parts are that I usually […]
