Bay One Customs Chevy Cameo Concept Custom Truck Debuts at SEMA 2013

It’s no doubt SEMA 2013 was the biggest automotive trade show in the world to date. We look forward to the show each year, but unfortunately the task of going through all of the pictures, video, and content we capture at the event each year is time consuming. This year our most anticipated show vehicles was one we’ve been covering the build on for the past year. It’s TC Penick and Bay One Customs’ 1958 Chevy Cameo Concept Custom Truck.

Roadkill Web Series Broadcasts LIVE Engine Swap at PRI Show

The guys from Hot Rod Magazine and the associated Roadkill Web Series never have a dull life. In fact, most anyone in the industry is jealous of these guys. They’re always filming some sort of adventure and filming it to make us all feel like we’re right there with them. Well this week at the PRI ( Performance Racing Industry) Trade Show in Indianapolis David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan are swapping out the blown big block in the “Crusher Chevrolet Camaro” in favor of a Fuel Injected Chevy LS7 engine that makes 700 Horsepower and a new 4L70 transmission to put the power down to the ground.

Custom Bomber Seat Fabrication

To be honest, I picked just about the worst possible project vehicle I could when starting Project Pile House. SEMA 2013 Pre-Show Coverage

In the automotive world there’s a few events you can always count on being the hotbed of “what’s cool” in the hobby. The one we always look forward to is right around the end of October or Early November and that’s the SEMA Show. Eastwood Company has been attending SEMA since our early days and we’ve watched it grow each year. The 2013 SEMA Show is no different and this year it’s almost outgrown the HUGE space it takes up at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This year I’ve heard rumors that the show has spilled out into the parking lot and halls of the adjacent Las Vegas Hotel. This means there will be more top-notch show vehicles, new products, and gear heads like you and I then before!

Read along as Jeremy tells us how he got a second chance to build the car he wanted to build as a kid!

How to Install an Aftermarket Shifter on a Chevy V8 and TH350.

When building Project Pile House I’ve pretty much discarded all of the original mechanics and I’ve been building from the ground up. I’ve already installed a SBC (small block Chevy V8) engine and a TH350 automatic transmission in the truck. Next I needed to install a universal shifter that would work with the changes I’ve made and look “right”.
