SEMA 2012- Eastwood Company Part 1 Coverage

Today is the first official day of the 2012 SEMA Show and we are as excited as ever. Walking through the first few rows of the hottest cars, trucks and bikes tell us that the automotive hobby is as strong as ever. We spent day one walking around spotting out some of the top cars at the show. Some exciting rides are here from the best car builders in the world. We go the pleasure of getting some first glimpses of Kevin Tetz’s Project “Jaded” Mustang. This thing is oozing Eastwood products and we’re excited to see it in the metal!

This year the hot new trend seems to be large oversized wheels on custom classic cars and trucks. We’re still on the fence with the look of the vehicles with such large wheels.. but you can’t deny they stand out!

Also the ’40 Ford; built for the 2012 Street Rodder Road Tour is on display in the Ford Booth and we’re thrilled to see a car built with Eastwood tools to be on such a main stage! We’ll be doing an interview with Troy Ladd of Hollywood Hot Rods later this week to get some insight on how they utilized some of products to build the ’40.

Day 2 is already upon us and we’re out there searching for the best rides to showcase for YOU. If there’s anything you want to see, drop us a line and we’ll try and seek one out! Make sure you check out the full feed from the show with updates hourly at www.eastwood.com . We promise you’ll feel like you’re almost right there walking the show with us!
