The guys from Hot Rod Magazine and the associated Roadkill Web Series never have a dull life. In fact, most anyone in the industry are jealous of these guys. They’re always on some sort of adventure and filming it to make us all feel like we’re right there with them. This week the adventre is at the PRI ( Performance Racing Industry) Trade Show in Indianapolis. Hosts David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan are swapping out the blown big block in the “Crusher Chevrolet Camaro” in favor of a Fuel Injected Chevy LS7 engine that makes 700 Horsepower and a new 4L70 transmission to put the power down to the ground.
The guys at Roadkill and Hot Rod Magazine have been long time Eastwood customers and they hit us up just before the event to ask us if we could lend them some tools to perform the swap. We decided to send them our full line of hand tools, engine tools, and our new rechargeable battery powered tool line to swap the engine out. Rumor has it that they will then film one of the next episodes of Road Kill after the show where these guys jump right in the Crusher Camaro and drive it back home to California at Hot Rod Magazine headquarters. Let’s hope they throw some of those Eastwood tools in the trunk just in case!
