When it comes to getting the perfect finish on your vehicle, the ability to see your work is critical. Eastwood’s versatile new Concours Detailing Light illuminates whatever you’re working on, wherever you’re working on it.
Designed with tight, awkward spaces in mind, the new light uses three different COB (circuit on board) LED lamp units. These are mounted on swivel bases and pivot to allow for perfect aim. Three brightness levels each produce brighter-than-daylight color between 6,000-7,500 Kelvin with a maximum output of 7,000 Lumens.
The versatility comes from its variety of mounting possibilities. Most users will probably take advantage of the telescoping trip mount, which expands from 32 to 67 inches tall. However, the lamp unit itself is detachable from the tripod for work in tighter corners. A rubber-covered magnetic base allows for mounting underhood, on tool boxes, or directly on the vehicle body. For places where a magnet isn’t possible or preferred, there’s also a plastic swivel-ball hook to allow hanging it.
While Eastwood’s product team developed this light with detailing in mind, it clearly has a multitude of uses. Its compact size (when detached from the tripod stand) makes it ideal for working in tight spaces, including engine compartments, beneath the vehicle, and under the dashboard.
