Motorsports 2011 Convention Coverage.

Here in Eastwood country, we are surrounded by constant auto enthusiast events. Even in the coldest months. Last week I went to Oaks, PA to check out the 2011 Motorsports Convention and Trade show. This show caters to most anything relating to motorsports; but the strong showing is for circle track dirt cars. I snapped some pictures along the way of some of the highlights of the show. One of my favorites included a vintage legendary circle track car that was in a crash in the 60’s and was left to rot. After many years and a few owners, it was pulled out of a garage and displayed here at the convention. It was interesting to see how different the safety standards were in race cars back then. Hope everyone likes these interesting pieces of motorsport history.

  1. Wow! That’s some really nice blog you have! By the way, great post! Good luck! 😉

  2. I’m sending this in hopes that it doesn’t fall on deaf ears and get to someone like Curt or someone in-charge who notices this as a problem! I bought a beginners hand book on powder coating to try to learn some things but when the book came it was in sad shape as the glue to bind the book was dry or something as the pages are falling off as you try to turn the pages! i called to get a replacement book and ask if they would check out the new book before shipment to make sure it was in good shape and was assured that they would, and also asked for a shipping container to be sent with the replacement book so all i had to do is put it in and re mail! well book two came yesterday and after opening it and looking at a few pages the cover is falling off and pages are about the same as in first book, and the shipping bag they sent is a joke of course as it is 7″X9″ and the book is like 8″X11″, what’s up with that???? there is a glue problem with those books maybe it’s because the copyright is 2004!!!! I asked for the prepaid bag so to not have to prepay to ship book back to you, didn’t think it was that big a problem so I was told this morning to ship both books back and you will credit my account back ( not a happy customer as i done allot of business with you but there are other company’s out there to buy product from for Me & my friends I have sent your way!!
Sorry to vent but it’s your business and you need to be aware, If it gets to you!
