Eastwood Welcomes Student Car Club from PA Virtual Charter School

As part of its mission to educate and inspire future generations of automotive enthusiasts, Eastwood Company opened its Pottstown, PA headquarters to the students of PA Virtual Charter School‘s auto club on Friday, May 10th.

The group of 6th- through 11th-grade students and their chaperones were given a tour of the company’s call center and warehouse. They learned about how Eastwood develops its products, brings them to market, sources and warehouses them, connects customers with the right products, and ships them out the door.

After a casual lunch that included conversation and face time with Eastwood CEO Brian Huck, the group returned to the Eastwood Garage for a demonstration of how product and how-to videos are recorded and produced. Several students in the group even got up in front of the camera to record short promo messages.

An active and engaged group, it was clear they all had a strong interest in cars on a personal level, asking smart questions throughout the day. And while some are content to be hobbyists, others clearly expressed interest in working with cars in a professional capacity after their schooling.

From all of us here at Eastwood, we were happy to share our experiences with the group and wish them all great success and happiness in their futures.
