Eastwood Summer Classic 2024 to Benefit Preston’s Pantry

Eastwood has aligned with Preston’s Pantry, a charitable project in conjunction with the Boyertown Area Multi-Service organization, to help raise food donations at this year’s Eastwood Summer Classic car show. Participants will receive three free raffle tickets for every canned or boxed food item donated at the car show on July 20, 2024.

Donations of non-perishable food items (canned, boxed, or dry goods) as well as household and personal hygiene items (soap, toothpaste, laundry detergent and other cleaning items) will be collected by Eastwood staff on the day of the show. Raffle tickets received in exchange can be used to enter to win great prizes ranging from Eastwood tools and equipment to tickets to the Reading Fightin’ Phils baseball team, golf outings, and more. Additional tickets will also be available for purchase.

Preston’s Pantry was founded in memory of 8-year-old Preston Dray who died in 2019 during flash floods. Though he was young when he died, he enjoyed helping others. In 2018 he donated 45 pounds of food to the Boyertown Area charity, and the project continues his legacy of giving.

Two DJs to Spin Music at Summer Classic

With the addition of the Next Gen and Exotics area at this year’s Summer Classic, we’ve arranged to have a second DJ on hand for entertainment. Josh Groff (aka DJ Shadow) will run the front of the building with traditional car show classic rock and oldies, while an associate of his will dial up a great ’80s/’90s mix to fit the mood of the back lot.

The Eastwood Summer Classic 2024 takes place on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The show is a rain-or-shine event and will be held at Eastwood’s company headquarters at 263 Shoemaker Rd in Pottstown, PA. Car show registration is $5 per car at the gate (no pre-registration) and spectators are free.
