Sometimes it’s the little details that make a project really come together. In the case of Eastwood video producer Adam’s C-10 pickup project, that meant coordinating the finish on a couple of bed accessories. Having previously powder coated his air suspension storage tank in a bright green shade, he though the bed-mounted red tool box containing his battery could use an update.
The tool box doubling as a battery box is an old, but very effective, way to make an ugly utilitarian component disappear. Watch as Adam strips the old powder coat finish off and prep it for its new color. Finished in the same green as his air tank, he mixed things up a bit with a contrasting finish on the end caps.
